TWF Charity Golf Tournament Coming October 15, 2011
As a recently appointed member of the Board of Directors of The Warford Foundation, I’d like to point you to an extremely important event that’s coming up on October 15, 2011.
This year on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM (ET) there will be a charity golf tournament followed by a cocktail party, with proceeds to benefit the Project Impact Scholars Program of The Warford Foundation.
All monies received from the tournament and cocktail party will assist the organization with being able to assist single mothers and military widows enrolled in the 2 year nursing program at Prince George’s Community College Nursing Department.Please visit the The Warford Foundation Charity Golf Tournament Event Page for detailed information on the event and directions to Andrews Air Force Base. The Warford Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit registered in the State of Maryland that was formed by Parthenia Warford to assist military widows and single mothers financially in successfully completing nursing programs that will help them to contribute to society in an area of need while also increasing their sense of purpose and ability to become more self-sufficient.
This is the third year for the organization and with an influx of new people to the Board of Directors, including myself and Heather, a lot of new ideas and plans are being formulated for the continued success and expansion of the Project Impact Scholars Program and for The Warford Foundation.
